“Medal of Honor has always been characterized by authenticity and reverence for the soldier. That sentiment has never been truer than it is today,” said Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer of Medal of Honor.
This year’s Medal of Honor release is set in Afghanistan (a change from the WWII environments), where the story is told through a small band of characters. Players are introduced to the Tier 1 Operator, an elite warrior and relatively unknown instrument of the U.S. Military that operates under the National Command Authority, taking on missions no one else can handle.
The game will release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows on October 12, 2010.
Medal of Honor is inviting players worldwide to participate in a massive multiplayer beta test starting on June 21. Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 VIPs who have pre-ordered Medal of Honor will be able to enter the multiplayer beta even earlier; starting June 17. For information on beta key distribution details go to www.medalofhonor.com/beta.
I remember playing medal of honor frontline before I even knew about call of duty. This is going to be good.
