DIRECTV free Universal Sports channel preview

Wanna catch some sporting events you might not normally see on your current sports channel lineup? DIRECTV is currently offering a free preview of Universal Sports Network through next Tuesday, Nov. 20. The channel can be found on DIRECTV 625. Unfortunately, USN isn’t offered in HD on DIRECTV (although the network apparently broadcasts in 1080i as well as 480i). But we’re hoping they will someday at the hi-def feed. Cut the cord to your service provider? You can find Ultimate Sports Network for free over-the-air. It’s usually right next to the NBC local broadcast on a sub-channel.
