Our spidey senses tell us Spider-Man: Far from Home will be the top seller in new Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray and DVD releases this week with both standard and exclusive retailer editions hitting stores. HBO’s Chernobyl, about the 80’s nuclear power plant explosion, releases to Blu-ray and DVD for the first time on disc. And, Doom Patrol: The Complete First Season arrives on Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Home Video.
On 4k Blu-ray, there are at least ten new releases (not counting retailer exclusives) including MCU films Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Guardians of the Galaxy. as well as several more upgrades of previous fan-favorite films such as Frozen, Gremlins, The Shining, and Pan’s Labyrinth.
