There aren’t nearly as many 4k Blu-ray releases as there are standard Blu-ray and DVDs every week, but usually a couple new titles drop every Tuesday. And, the majority of major motion pictures are usually available in Ultra HD Blu-ray upon home media release.

April, 2018
Universal Pictures and Marvel Studios have remastered The Incredible Hulk (2008) for the first time on Ultra HD Blu-ray featuring HDR (HDR10) color improvements and a DTS:X / DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. The combo, releasing on April 10, also packs a Blu-ray and Digital Copy. List: $29.99
The sci-fi thriller Push (2009) from Universal/Summit will get its first 4k release on April 10 in a 2-disc combo pack with Blu-ray and Digital Copy. List: $22.99
And, the drama/mystery Knowing (2009) starring Nicolas Cage gets released to 4k Blu-ray from Summit Entertainment with Blu-ray Digital copy included also on April 10. List: $22.99
From Lionsgate, Hostiles (2017) starring Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike will be available for the first time on home media including Ultra HD Blu-ray with Blu-ray and Digital Copy on April 24th. List: $42.99
May, 2018
Mamma Mia! The Movie (10th Anniversary Edition) will be available on May 1 from Universal in a 2-disc combo edition with Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital Copy. The 4k disc is presented in 2160p with HDR10 and English soundtrack in DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio. List: $29.99
Source Code (2011) starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Monaghan will be release to a 4k Blu-ray combo pack with Blu-ray and Digital Copy on May 8, 2018.
3-time Oscar-nominated drama The Patriot (2000) starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger has been remastered for Ultra HD Blu-ray release. The combo edition from Sony includes Blu-ray and Digital copies and will hit stores on May 22, 2018. List: $30.99
It’s a story about a tank! Brad Pitt is the commander of a WWII Sherman tank that saves the day in Fury (2014). Sony has now printed the action film on 4k Blu-ray for release on May 22, packaged with a Blu-ray and Digital Copy. List: $30.99
June, 2018
On June 5, Season One of HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones will be released Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time. Six-time Academy Award-winner Forrest Gump arrives on Ultra HD Blu-ray from Paramount Home Media on June 12, 2018, along with the distributor’s 4k Blu-ray edition of Terminator Genisys starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
