DIRECTV and CBS have announced a long term deal has been reached to continue retransmission of CBS owned stations, as well as continued carriage of Showtime, CBS Sports Network, and Smithsonian Channel. Although financial terms were not revealed, both parties appear to be amicable. Popular CBS shows include Survivor, Big Brother, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The Amazing Race, among others.
