Late yesterday the Mass Effect 3 demo launched on PlayStation Network, allowing PSN members to download the single-player demo. In the tryout you can change your appearance and combat class, and eventually you’ll also be able to choose weapons and abilities. Also, on Friday, Feb. 17, PS3 owners will be able to play Mass Effect 3 in multiplayer mode for the first time. But, even better news for PS3 gamers who redeemed an online pass for Battlefield 3, as those members have already been granted access to the multiplayer demo. Mass Effect 3 will officially launch in North America on March 6, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
