DirecTV added HBO Signature & HBO Family in HD to their high-definition lineup this morning. This news comes via TV Predictions and several message boards posting the information. HBO Signature HD can be found on channel 503 and HBO Family HD can be found on channel 507.
HBO Signature runs original series and specials aimed primarily at a women audience. HBO Family is pretty much what it sounds like – a channel dedicated to a younger or family audience with programming aimed at preschoolers in the early morning.
The last time we wrote about DirecTV adding HD content was in February when the company added HBO, Cinemax and regular programming from NBC to their HD On Demand library.
