Cox now offers 56 HD channels “free-of-charge” to HD tier subscribers. The company says it will continue to expand their HD listings including more channels planned for Hampton in May, and for James City County and York County later this year.
“We are pleased to add BET HD to our growing list of HD channels. Best of all, we do not charge extra for the HD channels so Cox customers can watch them for free,” said Gary McCollum, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cox Hampton Roads.
Cox Communications has approximately 5.9 million customers in the United States. The cable TV, internet and voice provider offers services in parts of Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New England, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Virginia. Cox Communications also owns and operates the Travel Channel.
