Sony ships newest Blu-ray player

Sony has shipped its newest Blu-ray player, the BDP-S350. The player supports BonusView, BD-live, and features Precision Cinema HD upscaling technology. The player also makes use of a correcting drive called Precision Drive HD, which helps with scratched or bent DVDs.

Other features include full HD 1080/60p & 24p True Cinema Video Output, built-in Dolby TrueHD /DTS-HD bitstream out over HDMI (V1.3), x.v.Color for AVC-HD. The player is 17″ wide and weighs just over 6 pounds.

No price drop on this BD player. The high-def player, at $399, retails for the same as a 40GB Playstation 3. It can be found in-stock at SonyStyle.com and Amazon.
