Say it isn’t so! DirecTV will raise the price of most service packages from $1 to $9 per month starting on January 28th, 2016, that according to a support page on the satcaster’s website. Verizon Fios customers can now stream DVR-recorded content as well as live TV channels on Android and iOS mobile devices using the Fios Mobile App. While the app will stream all subscribed-to channels, customers must be on a home network for live TV. Read more
DISH adds Kids’ Profiles to Anywhere apps and website
Parents who are Dish Network customers can breath a little bit easier with the addition of Kid’s profiles for DISH’s TV Everywhere apps. The apps, and website, can now utilize up to five viewer profiles with four of them able to restrict content to age groups. Read more
