Paramount Home Media will release Terminator Genisys to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on November 10th (following the Digital HD release on October 20th). The Blu-ray editions of Terminator Genisys will be available in several different editions, including exclusives from Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
What’s common among all releases is the formatting, so that’s cover that here first. Terminator Genisys on Blu-ray Disc is formatted in 1080p at 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio, with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack that’s also compatible with Dolby TrueHD 7.1 if your sound system doesn’t support Atmos. The DVD included in combo editions is formatted in 16:9 with 5.1 Dolby Digital.
And, the Blu-ray Disc editions of Terminator Genisys will all include a Digital HD copy redeemable with either Apple iTunes or UltraViolet.
Common 2-disc Blu-ray: Terminator Genisys
The standard 2-disc Blu-ray edition of Terminator Genisys includes a Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital HD copy of the film redeemable with iTunes or UltraViolet. Extra bonus material includes the featurette “Family Dynamics” about the casting of Terminator Genisys, a behind-the-scenes look at filming locations in “Infiltration and Termination,” and the visual effects exploration “Upgrades: VFX of Terminator Genisys.” Price: $19.99
Common 3-disc Blu-ray 3D: Terminator Genisys
The common 3-disc Blu-ray 3D edition of Terminator Genisys includes a Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD copy of the film redeemable with iTunes or UltraViolet. Only @ Best Buy Exclusive: Terminator Genisys
In addition to the extras mentioned above, Best Buy’s exclusive 3-disc Blu-ray edition of Terminator Genisys will include a bonus disc titled “The World of Terminator Genisys” with over 90 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes content. The edition also includes a copy of the film on DVD and Digital HD (with iTunes or UltraViolet). Price: $19.99.
Target Exclusive: Terminator Genisys Steelbook Edition
Target’s exclusive edition of Terminator Genisys is packaged in a special steelbook case that opens to reveal several of the film’s characters. The 2-disc edition contains a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy with iTunes or UltraViolet. Bonus material should be the same as included with the common 2-disc edition. Price: $22.99
Walmart Exclusive: Terminator Genisys Blu-ray 2-Disc Edition
The 2-disc edition of Terminator Genisys from Walmart will contain a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD copy with iTunes or UltraViolet. We don’t have any information yet on what makes this Walmart edition exclusive, but will update when we find out. Price: $19.85

Terminator Genisys with Endoskull Blu-ray Edition
We don’t have much information on the price or where to buy the Blu-ray edition of Terminator Genisys with Endoskull (just the photo), but the 2-disc Blu-ray edition appears to be same as the common edition with a Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital HD copy of the film from iTunes or UltraViolet. Extra bonus material is the same as the above, with several production featurettes and behind-the-scenes content. Price: TBD
