Sometime this year Verizon and Coinstar (Redbox) will partner to offer customers additional options when they rent videos. Although details such as pricing were not provided, the partnership would allow customers to pay one fee to access movies on several platforms -- including physical and digital. The LLC (in which Verizon will own 65% and Redbox 35%), will leverage on Redbox's 35,000 kiosks and Verizon's online video-on-demand services.
