Outdoor Channel HD has been added to Comcast’s high-definition channel lineup in Colorado. Customers across the state should be able to receive the new channel starting today. The network says it is on its way to becoming 100-percent native HD by July 28, 2010.
“When it comes to outdoor recreation, Colorado is the epicenter. Outdoor Channel HD’s entry into the market is a good fit, as viewers are sure to appreciate our picturesque hunting, fishing, shooting and rugged adventure outdoor programming,” said Tom Hornish, COO at Outdoor Channel.
“The outdoor genre is made for high-definition, adding depth, color and vibrancy to the great outdoors, as well as enhancing the viewer experience,” added Randy Brown, Executive Vice President, Affiliate Sales & Marketing at Outdoor Channel.
