Oliver Stone to produce drama for Epix

Epix has partnered with producer/writer/director Oliver Stone and writer Bruce Wagner to develop a new dramatic series titled “Still Holding.” The show will be based on Wagner’s novel, exploring the lives for three disparate characters in Los Angeles and “the violent consequences of love and betrayal.”

“When a company like EPIX comes along, it’s a chance to break new ground,” said Oliver Stone.

Stone and Wagner, who also worked together on the mini-series “Wild Palms,” will be executive producers of the series.

Bruce Wagner has written for Tracy Ullman’s “State of the Union” as well as for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Vogue and Vanity Fair.

Epix is a premium channel that broadcasts in both standard and high-definition. The multi-platform network also offers its programming on-demand and via its website.
