Time Warner Cable has added 27 new HD channels in its Corpus Christi, TX markets. The new channels are available free-of-charge to TMC subscribers who have an HD set-top box, and give customers access to a total of 35 high-definition channels. The areas include Corpus Christi and outlying areas Alice, Beeville and Orange Grove.
New networks include viewer favorites like Disney Channel HD, ESPNews HD, Animal Planet HD, History Channel HD, MLB HD, CNN HD and FOX NEWS HD. (See below for full list.)
“By delivering the most HD choices and enhanced HD for free to our Digital Cable customers, Time Warner Cable reaffirms our position as the preeminent multimedia provider,” said Gavino Ramos, vice president of communications, Time Warner Cable South Texas.
Time Warner recently signed a 7-year agreement with The Nielsen Company to distribute content The CW Television Network, HBO, Warner Brothers Domestic TV Distribution, Time Inc., RET Media and station WPCH.

Why is it that Time Warner subscribers in Rio Grande Vally, which is not far from Corpus, pay the same and have less HD channels that is bull S^&&!!!
When is Time Warner going to step it up and offer more HD in the Rio Grande Valley? Dish is looking better and better everyday….
