Comcast and the Boston Red Sox announced they have partnered to launch Red Sox On Demand. The service which starts today is available exclusively to Comcast Digital Cable customers in the New England area.
The On Demand content includes player profles (both past and present), historic milestones, close ups, behind-the-scenes footage of the 2004 World Series Trophy Tour, Josh Beckett’s Annual Beckett Bowl, a hitting clinic by Kevin Youkilis, and even a cribbage match between Manager Terry Francona and Dustin Pedroia.
Comcast says it will regularly update the service with the latest news and continue to add more Red Sox content from the Red Sox video library.
Red Sox On Demand is available free-of-charge to Comcast Digital Cable customers.
