AT&T’s U-verse reached 1 million subscribers, the company announced Tuesday. The IPTV based television/internet/voice service was launched two and a half years ago, and now covers 79 major US markets in 16 states.
AT&T says its U-verse service provides at least 85 HD (High-Definition) channels in all markets. The service also offers High Speed Internet Max with downstream speeds up to 10 Mbps, and Max 18 with downstream speeds up to 18 Mbps.
The U-verse service is now available to approximately 10 million homes in the US.
