Crown Media announced a contractual agreement with Cox Communications to carry the Hallmark Movie Channel in high-definition. The multi-year deal (length of contract not specified) will allow Cox to distribute Hallmark Movie Channel HD to its subscribers.
The television service provider currently broadcasts the Hallmark Movie Channel in standard definition, as well as the Hallmark Channel. Cox Communications has over 6 million subscribers in the U.S. counting both residential and commercial subscribers.

Hallmark Movie Channel is featuring “Pandemic” this month. Starring Tiffani Thiessen and Faye Dunaway, “Pandemic” is a story about a mysterious new virus that turns into a deadly outbreak. Other movie features this month include “White Fang II” and “Passport to Paris.”
