Samsung to be official NFL HDTV sponsor

Samsung PlasmaAccording to an August 23 press release, Samsung will become the official HDTV sponsor of the NFL. The deal includes a multi-year agreement, that includes the installation of Samsung HDTVs in select areas of football stadiums. Players and coaches will now be able to view critical footage in high definition provided by Samsung.”We are excited to expand upon our relationship with the NFL after serving as the Official HDTV of the NFL for the past two years,” said Tim Baxter, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Samsung Electronics. “As the number 1 provider of HDTVs, Samsung strives to bring innovative HDTV technologies that enhance the HD viewing experience for football and sports fans everywhere. We are proud to be the number 1 pick of the NFL and a part of the most-watched sport in the country.”
