epix_logo_smEpix signed its third distribution deal with Mediacom this week, and will begin service in April, 2010. The joint-venture between Viacom, MGM and Lionsgate which offers a premium lineup of movies also signed a deal with Cox Communications this week.

“Mediacom is a great distribution partner that serves a unique marketplace in our country — smaller towns and rural communities,” said Mark Greenberg, president of Epix.

Epix provides standard-definition, high-definition and video-on-demand content for television as well as streaming content on their website. One subscription (currently $9.99 per month with Verizon’s FiOS TV service) provides access to all outlets.
