A little less than two months after the PS3 beat them to punch, the Xbox 360 now joins the Amazon Instant Video family. That means all videos you've purchased or have currently rented from Amazon are now available on Microsoft's ubiquitous game console, and if you're an Amazon Prime member, you'll also find the entire Prime Instant Video library there as well. Xbox Live Gold subscribers who are also Amazon Prime members get unlimited access to over 17,000 Prime Instant Videos at no additional cost. Of course Xbox users with Kinect peripheral will have the extra bonus of finding and playing their videos with the wave of a hand or sound of their voice.
It's been a long haul for PS3 owners who want to watch Amazon Instant Video on their gaming console. But finally, Amazon has launched an app for the service. Prime Members get the most out of this app, with the ability to stream about 17,000 titles from the Amazon library.

Two internet giants are offering digital viewing of Magnolia's The Hunter before the film hits U.S. theaters on April 6. Amazon is renting the film for $9.99 for a 48-hour period, with options to stream or download to your PC.
Amazon has entered into an agreement with Viacom to provide more streaming content for their Prime Instant Video service. For subscribers to Amazon Prime, that means content from MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, TV Land, and VH1 will be free to watch instantly on Kindle Fire tablets, PCs and other supported devices.

Amazon has announced a deal with Disney/ABC that adds 800 titles to their Prime Instant Video streaming service. The content will come from ABC Studios, The Disney Channel, ABC Family, and Marvel and is available free-of-charge to Amazon Prime members. Titles to be added to the Instant Video library include Lost and Grey’s Anatomy (available 11/1/11), Felicity, The Disney Channel’s Phineas & Ferb, and Marvel’s X-Men Evolution.
Amazon has just announced a deal that will add FOX titles to their Instant Streaming service. TV shows from the FOX library include The Wonder Years (available in digital form for the first time), Ally McBeal, Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, and 24.
