Following the 4k Blu-ray release of Captain America: The First Avenger last February, Disney/Buena Vista will issue an Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) on Tuesday, April 23. The “Cinematic Universe Edition” on 4k Blu-ray includes an Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and Digital Code redeemable for a digital copy (see how below).
Exclusive SteelBook
Best Buy (and the UK’s Zavvi) have an exclusive SteelBook edition of Captain America: The Winter Soldier with the same specs and extras as the standard edition but packaged nicely in a metal case with custom artwork on the front, back and inside. Best Buy is selling the collectible edition for $34.99.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier on 4k Blu-ray is presented in 2160p resolution at 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio. High Dynamic Range color enhancements are provided through HDR10 on 4k Blu-ray players and HDR 4k TVs that support it.
Audio is provided in immersive Dolby Atmos with 2.0 Descriptive Audio backed by Dolby TrueHD 7.1. Spanish and French audio tracks are can be played in up to 7.1 channel Dolby Digital Plus. Subtitles are provided in English SDH, French and Spanish.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier also features UltraPlay – a way to instantly jump to the movie optimized for 4k Ultra HD.
Digital Copy
Captain America: The Winter Soldier on 4k Blu-ray includes a code to redeem a digital copy of the film in 4k (where supported) from Movies Anywhere (which now supports 4k) and iTunes (although an Apple iTunes account in required).

The 4k Blu-ray edition of Captain America: The Winter Soldier includes previously released extras such as featurettes, audio commentary, deleted scenes, and gag reel (see details below).
