4k Blu-ray Oct 2018There are five Tuesdays in October! That means five new Blu-ray release days this month, and we’ve already counted over two dozen new 4k titles hitting shelves not including retailer exclusives. Have you started your 4k Blu-ray collection yet? Here are some highlights to look forward to followed by a full month’s schedule of new Ultra HD Blu-ray releases.

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, Sicario: Day of the Soldado arrives on disc for the first time in a 2-disc combo edition that includes an Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital Copy. On the same day, Universal’s The First Purge also premieres on disc in both Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray formats, as well as previously-released ‘Purge’ titles to Best Buy SteelBook combo editions. Also on Oct. 16, cult-classic The Big Lebowski has been remastered to 4k to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film’s theatrical release in 1998, and this year’s dark comedy Arizona (2018) hits shelves.
