This week the Star Wars movie everyone said sucked but is really a great movie is now available on disc! Come on, admit it. It’s a good film!
Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and DVD this Tuesday, Sept. 25. Like other blockbusters, the movie can be purchased in several exclusive retailer editions from Best Buy, Target and Walmart. Each BD combo also includes an extra disc and digital copy along with several production featurettes, director and cast roundtable, and eight deleted scenes.
Just in time for the start of the NBA pre-season is Uncle Drew starring Kyrie Irving. The film is available on both Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray, and limited editions offer exclusive collectibles such as a baseball cap, headband, and SteelBook packaging. Of course, both BD combos include a second disc and digital copy.
On 4k Blu-ray there are plenty of new 4k Blu-ray releases this week, in fact one of the biggest 4k drops of the year. We’ve already mentioned Solo: A Star Wars Story and Uncle Drew, but you might also consider Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, Doctor Who: Twice Upon a Time, Punisher: War Zone, The Punisher, Halloween and the X-Men Trilogy all arriving on Ultra HD Blu-ray.
And, from the television screen Fraggle Rock: The Complete Series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Third Season and Midsomer Murders: Series 20, and the Ken Burns PBS documentary Ken Burns: The Mayo Clinic are also hitting stores on Blu-ray Disc for the first time.
