4k-blu-ray-july-2018Here’s a look at upcoming 4k Blu-ray releases.

Oddly enough there weren’t any 4k Blu-ray releases the first week of July, but this Tuesday starts off the month with two new titles: A Quiet Place and The Equalizer (2014), which is also available in exclusive Best Buy SteelBook packaging.

On July 17, Warner Bros.’ Rampage starring Dwayne Johnson gets released to disc for the first time, both on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray. And, remastered editions of Sam Raimi’s western The Quick and the Dead (1995) and Paramount’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will also be available in 4k. In addition, the Terminator 2: Judgment Day Collector’s Edition with limited-production Endoarm will be available in 4k resolution for the first time in home media.

On July 24, Steven Spielberg’s epic adventure Ready Player One hits stores on disc for the first time on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray, both combos packaged with an extra disc and digital copy.

Finally, G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) have been upgraded for 4k Blu-ray release on July 31, each edition with an extra Blu-ray disc and digital copy.
