Despicable Me 3 and More Blu-ray Releases This Week

Despicable Me 3 is no doubt the most popular new Blu-ray title this week, available in both Blu-ray and 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray combo editions from Universal that include plenty of extras such as a new mini-movie, deleted scene, Minion Moments, character profiles, and other extras. Lionsgate’s American Assassin hits stores on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray starring Oscar-nominated actor Michael Keaton. Each combo edition comes with an extra disc (either DVD or Blu-ray) as well as code to redeem a digital copy. The English soundtrack to the film is provided in Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio possibilities. Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series is available from Showtime/Paramount in both Blu-ray and DVD 8-disc editions each with a run time of over 1,000 minutes. The boxed sets contain all 18 parts of the limited event series, as well as over 6 hours of special features. The Blu-ray version contains another hour-and-a-half of bonus material. (More details here.)
