DC’s Wonder Woman was last summer’s blockbuster film, earning over $400M at the US box office alone. This week the Warner Bros. production leads as the most popular Blu-ray release, available on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and 4k Blu-ray. Fan-favorite sci-fi series Firefly has been released to a 15th Anniversary Edition from Fox Home Entertainment. The collector’s edition comes with 3 Blu-ray discs, character cards, and a fold out map, packaged in a nicely-designed box featuring the starship Serenity (speaking of which, the film is headed for 4k Blu-ray). Hit comedy The Big Sick starring Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan and Holly Hunter is now available on disc. The film comes in a 2-disc Blu-ray combo from Lionsgate that packs a DVD and Digital HD copy. And, the fifth season of DC’s Arrow has been released to Blu-ray with all 23 episodes from the 2016/2017 season. The 4-disc set, with a total runtime of 970 minutes, also includes 4 featurettes, 2016 Comic-Con Panel, deleted scenes, gag reel, and Epic DC Super Hero Crossover Event.
