The fifth season of the Netflix Original Series House of Cards is available for pre-order, set to release on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 3. The 4-disc set from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment packages all discs in a nicely designed 3-fold sleeve with images from the show. Each disc contains a character or characters from the series, with Francis and Claire Underwood on their own Blu-ray.
The edition includes all 13 episodes of the fifth season (Chapters 53-65), along with a Digital HD copy of the season redeemable through UltraViolet.
House of Cards: The Complete Fifth Season is formatted in 1080p at 2.00:1 aspect ratio. The soundtrack is playable in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, with subtitles in English, English SDH, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Season 5 of carries an MSRP of $55.99 but is currently priced $36.99 from Amazon, while the DVD is list-priced $45.99 with pre-orders selling for $26.99. (See below for updated prices.)
