The film that started it all, Alien (1979), is just $4.99 in HD from iTunes today. The Ridley Scott masterpiece stars Sigourney Weaver as Lt. Ellen Ripley in the movie that won an Oscar for “Best Effects, Visual Effects” that included H.R. Giger in the creative team.
The special deal for Alien from Apple and 20th Century Fox comes in anticipation of Alien: Covenant set to release on May 19th, but also along with today’s live streaming of the Alien Day event from Fox Studios.
By the way, just because you use Windows doesn’t mean you can’t buy a movie from Apple. iTunes is supported on Windows PCs just as well as on Apple OSX and iOS devices.
