This week is full of new TV shows on Blu-ray Disc including the sixth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead. Starz and Anchor Bay have released Ash vs Evil Dead – The Complete First Season to Blu-ray Disc this week. The 2-disc edition includes all ten 30-minute episodes with Dolby TrueHD 7.1 channel surround sound. The follow-up to the The Evil Dead film franchise stars Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless. Price: $24.99
Universal’s The Huntsman: Winter’s War – Extended Edition is now available on Blu-ray Disc. The 2-disc edition includes deleted scenes with commentary, gag reel, behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast, and audio commentary from director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan. There are also three featurettes that are exclusive to the Blu-ray edition. And, digital copies are included from iTunes or UltraViolet. Price: $19.99
And, on Ultra HD Blu-ray this week both Snow White & the Huntsman and The Huntsman: Winter’s War are are available in 4k with HDR. The 2-disc editions from Universal include a 1080p Blu-ray Disc copy and Digital HD copies redeemable with iTunes or UltraViolet.
