NFL Sunday Ticket was always something non-DirecTV customers envied — the chance to access every out-of-market NFL game on Sunday afternoons. But that has changed as of late, ever since DirecTV started offering NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV.

Now, Roku has added DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket app channel to their platform, available only to those not getting DirecTV service, or those not able to get DirecTV service because of an obstruction or restriction. The service is available to Roku owners in apartments, condos  and townhomes in the US.

Active students at four-year universities nationwide can also purchase NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV U at a student price.

NFL Sunday Ticket is compatible with both Roku player and Roku TV models, and streaming packages start at $49.99 a month for four months.

As we mentioned above not everyone can get NFL Sunday Ticket streaming via the internet. Those interested can go to nflsundayticket.tv and enter their address to find out. If you’re presently a DirecTV customer and logged into a browser, you won’t even see the option.

Llive streaming of NFL Sunday Ticket starts on Sunday, September 13, 2015 – the first Sunday of the NFL regular season.

  1. Is anyone else getting this error message after installing the NFL SUNDAY TICKET, “could not resolve: dtv.api.skychnl.net [domain name not found]. I have already checked with Roku and they advise me it is the signal from NFL SUNDAY TICKET that is the problem. I would sure like some input.

  2. How about people like myself who live in a home, but we don’t have direct tv, cable, etc. We have rabbit years, yep, no cable, but we do have Roku, why shouldn’t we be able to watch on Roku since we don’t subscribe to any cable company?

  3. Yeah. I tried several addresses as well. It is a bit of a scam. But contractually maybe they are not allowed to offer the NFL games everywhere — only places where DirecTV is not available. It seems they are focused on apartment buildings, student housing, and places where a satellite won’t work.

    • You have to use an apt address. If you use a house address you will not be able to get the account. We figured this out with the help of the NFL network ladies help… and used a friends apt as our address and are able to stream on laptop and roku. The address is not verified so you can essentially use a random apt.

  4. I tried four different addresses to see if eligible for the new NFL Sunday ticket via Internet.
Guess what, all four got “Sorry this address not elegible” despite the fact that none of the four residents have Direct TV nor it’s competitor Dish. The site just offers you Direct TV Satellite service. What a scam!!!!
