The satirical comedy film Spaceballs from Mel Brooks and MGM is now available to purchase on Apple iTunes in HD for $4.99. The special price, the same as the SD version, ends on Monday, June 15th.
Spaceballs (1987) is a parody of science fiction films such as Star Wars, Star Trek, and Planet of the Apes. The film stars popular 80’s actors John Candy, Rick Moranis, and Bill Pullman, along with director/co-writer Mel Brooks. Over the years Spaceballs has reached a “cult” status, and remains on of Mel Brooks’ most well known titles.
Spaceballs in HD is a 4.33 GB file, while the SD version is 1.6 GB. HD formats include 720p and 1080p, but the higher resolution 1080p is only available as a download.
