It’s only been about 7 years since Bioshock released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Now you can enter Rapture on your Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch iOS device. The hit game from 2k Games has just been released from Take-Two Interactive’s China subsidiary, who also developed iOS titles such as Borderlands Legends and NBA 2K14. At $14.99, Bioshock for iOS is priced on the high end for a mobile app. One would think $4.99 or $9.99 for a game this old would probably sell more copies, but nevertheless playing the game on iPad should be a new experience for anyone into FPS horror genre games.
There are quite a few disclaimers you should know about before you go ahead and purchase the game. Bioshock only works on iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad 4, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5. The game will not run on older devices such as iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad 1, iPad Mini 1, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 5, iPod Touch 4, or iPod Touch 3. Bioshock requires iOS 7.1 or higher.
