‘The Resident Evil Collection’ gets Dec. 21 release date

While the past few weeks have seen plenty of Blu-ray boxed set releases aimed at the discriminating collector, Sony isn’t about to let the holiday season come and go without some blood and gore. The Resident Evil Collection will be unleashed on the public in a five-film Blu-ray set on December 21. The five-disc package includes each movie in its 2D form: Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil: Afterlife, & Resident Evil: Retribution. The suggested list price for the set is $95.99, but Amazon has it up for pre-order right now for $59.99. Based on the iconic video game series, the Resident Evil movies are known for Milla Jovovich battling the evil Umbrella Corporation and spraying armies of zombies with assault weapons. Perfect for Christmas morning! Here’s a link to The Resident Evil Collection Blu-ray boxed set on Amazon.
