I’m not exactly Bobby Bargain Shopper, but when I see a highly awaited, newly released Blu-ray boxed set out in the wild going for some $47 less than what Amazon has it for, I must act. Costco (at least my Costco in Jacksonville, Florida) has Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection in-store going for just $163.99. The last check of Amazon had it for $210.99. The 15-film set features a beautiful bevy of Hitch’s iconic thrillers, from Psycho and The Birds to Rear Window and North By Northwest. That’s a very reasonable price of $10.93 per film, plus you get a 58-page book and over 15 hours of bonus features. Can you see this being any cheaper anywhere else on Black Friday? I couldn’t, so I snatched it up.
