DIRECT adds Disney Junior channel

Over the weekend DIRECTV added the kid-focused channel Disney Junior. The 24-hour channel is geared toward children aged 2-7 (but of course adults might enjoy the programming as well!). Disney Junior is available on DIRECTV channel 289. The network will air shows such as “Doc McStuffins,” “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,” “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Handy Manny,” “Little Einsteins,” “Special Agent Oso,” as well as films from Walt Disney Studios and Pixar. Unfortunately, the channel doesn’t appear to be broadcasting in HD yet.
