Amazon’s LOVEFiLM lands Fox titles

Amazon’s LOVEFiLM movie service has landed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox to stream movies and TV shows. The Fox titles will include catalog, recent and future titles, as well as “exclusive” access to second pay window titles starting in March, 2013. Movie titles released in the UK during 2011 are part of the distribution agreement. TV titles such as Sons of Anarchy, 24, Prison Break, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel starting in July. LOVEFiLM will continue its agreement with Fox for the distribution of Blu-ray Discs, 3D Blu-rays and DVD rentals by mail. LOVEFiLM recently announced content agreements with Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, NBC Universal, Entertainment One, STUDIOCANAL, Disney, ABC, BBC and ITV.
