As if the masses needed any more reason to flood the stores for Tuesday’s release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the stakes have just been raised by Best Buy. For a limited time, buyers of the game can also receive a free (with a new 2-year contract) select HTC phone. There’s one available for each of the three major carriers: Droid Incredible 2 for Verizon, Inspire 4G for AT&T, and Evo 4G for Sprint. The deal also includes a free Call of Duty-branded case for your new phone (no word on whether it’s SMG-resistant), as well as a one-year premium membership to Call of Duty Elite, the new online stat-tracking and community-building system accompanying MW3’s launch.
