Sony Internet TV update includes Android Market apps

An update for Sony Internet TVs powered by Google TV and the Sony Internet TV Blu-ray Disc player is now available. The software update includes improved user interface, enhanced search, and access to hundreds of apps in the Android Market (rolling out early next week). And, the Android Market will house apps specifically optimized for television. The new update is also designed to integrate easier with Android and iOS devices such as smartphones and tablets.
