Sony’s Tablet S now streaming “Video Unlimited”

The Sony Tablet S will now stream movies and TV shows from Sony’s “Video Unlimited” library, according to a press release today. The video service provides over 40,000 titles for rent or purchase. Rental prices from Sony Network Entertainment start at $2.99 for SD, while purchase prices start at $9.99.

Sony’s “Video Unlimited” service is also available on 2010 and 2011 models of the following network-enabled devices:

  • BRAVIA HDTVs
  • Blu-ray Disc players
  • Blu-ray Disc Home Theater systems
  • PlayStation3 systems
  • PSP (PlayStation®Portable)
  • PCS including VAIO models
  • Sony Ericsson Android-based mobile phones
  • other third-party devices
