Due in theaters January 20, 2012, Underworld: Awakening changes the traditional Underworld scenario in which Vampires battle Werewolves (Lycans) in an ageless feud. This time, humans enter the picture. But will the Lycans and Vampires join forces to engage the humans? Not much else has been revealed from Lakeshore Entertainment in terms of plot. And, although we do know Kate Beckinsale will return as Selene, it is rumored whether or not Scott Speedman will return as Michael Corvin. We’ll just have to wait and see if more plot is revealed before the opening. Underworld: Awakening will be presented in both 3D and 2D theaters worldwide.
