Comcast has started its expansion of Xfinity in the state of Vermont, where the company’s 3-pack of services: Xfinity TV, Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Voice, are now offered in some market areas. The first areas to get the Xfinity choice include Brattleboro, Rutland and Bennington. Comcast currently offers over 100 HD channels and 25,000 VOD choices to Xfinity subscribers in Vermont.
Other services available with Xfinity include 50Mbps download speed, 50-70 foreign language channels, and access to XfinityTV.com. The digital expansion will continue on a “rolling basis” throughout upcoming months. Comcast first started offering services to residents of Vermont in November, 2006.
