Red Riding Hood on Blu-ray Disc and DVD is now available to purchase online and in stores. The 2011 title from Warner Bros. Pictures stars Amanda Seyfried, Lukas Haas and Gary Oldman in a fantasy/horror/mystery film based on the fairy tale of the same name, except done PG-13 style. The movie has been released in three separate disc editions that include DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and Blu-ray/DVD Combo with Digital Copy. The best option of the three, in our opinion, is the 3-disc combo which gives you a Blu-ray Disc for home theater, DVD for travel, and digital copy on DVD to transfer to laptops, tablets and other mobile devices. (FYI: The digital copy will expire a year from now on June 12, 2012.)
The Red Riding Hood combo also adds special features to the mix such as an extended cut with alternate ending, several featurettes, gag reels, and deleted scenes. Walmart has got the combo for $22.96, while Best Buy, Target and Amazon all have it equally priced at $22.99.
