What are the top selling Blu-ray Discs right now? Coming in at number 1 for the week ending June 26, 2011 is Universal's The Adjustment Bureau starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. At number 2 in Blu-ray sales is Warner Bros' Unknown, followed by Sony Pictures' Battle: Los Angeles.
Netflix and Open Road Films have signed a multi-year agreement which includes streaming of titles during what is traditionally the "pay TV window" after DVDs are released. The first film to stream under the deal will be "Killer Elite" starring Jason Statham, Robert DeNiro and Clive Owen. The film is set to release in theaters on Sept. 23.
For the July 4th weekend Dish Network will offer five movies for 99 cents each via their DISH Cinema channel. The movies are no slouches either. The lineup includes the 2011 films "Sucker Punch," "Battle: Los Angeles," "Hall Pass," and "Just Go With It," as well as last year's 10-time Oscar nominated film "True Grit."

Tolkien fans can finally get the extended versions of Peter Jackson's 'Lord of the Rings Trilogy' after enduring over a year of temptation to nibble on the condensed theatrical versions of the films. Diehard LOTR fans were pissed, and rightfully so. But, some redemption can be found knowing that the extended versions (adding a total of 123 minutes to the actual films) are now available to purchase online and in-stores.
