BET HD has been added to the Verizon FiOS TV high-definition channel lineup in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Florida, New Jersey, downstate New York and the Philadelphia area. The hi-def channel will launch in Maryland, Virginia, Harrisburg, Buffalo and Syracuse by Thursday, March 24 and will be rolled out to all other FiOS TV markets by Tuesday, March 29.
The channel can be found in HD on channels 770 and 270 in SD. Programming includes “The Mo’Nique Show” and “Monica: Still Standing.” BET also covers the “BET Awards,” “BET Hip-Hop Awards” and “Celebration of Gospel.” The network will also launch “106 & Park” in HD on May 2.
