Toshiba Corp. has announced a 3D Blu-ray player for UK release in October. The BDX3100KB supports the full HD 1080p Blu-ray 3D format, as well as DivX & MKV playback AVCHD. For audio the 3100KB supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The 1920x1080p HD resolution on the 3100KB is displayed at 24 frames-per-second, and image quality enhanced by 24-bit Deep Colour. Bonus View, BD-Live, USB 2.0, and REGZA-LINK (HDMI-CEC) connectivity are also part of the Toshiba BDX3100KB 3D player.
Toshiba also announced another entry level BD player for UK release. The BDX1100KB also supports 24fps at 1080p, BD-Live, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, Bonus View, Deep Colour, and REGZA-LINK (HDMI-CEC) connectivity.
