Disney to offer free ‘Family Movies’ preview

Disney will offer a free preview of its Disney Family Movies service on Labor Day Weekend from Thursday, September 2 through Monday, September 6. The subscription-based video-on-demand (SVOD) service will show films such as “Pocahontas,” “Muppet Treasure Island,” “A Bug’s Life,” and the Disney-Pixar animated short “Monster Truck Mater” during the preview.

Subscribers to Comcast, Charter, Cox, AT&T U-verse, Suddenlink, Verizon FiOS and Avail TVN Affiliates will have access to the free preview. (Contact your TV service provider or visit DisneyFamilyMovies.com for more info.)

Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show) will host the “Disney Family Movies” preview on Labor Day Weekend. Disney Family Movies plays Disney movies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a monthly charge.
