Time Warner Cable has added a bunch of new On-Demand movies under a category called "Hits of 2011." Cars 2, Super 8, and Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 are among the included titles. All of the movies are available in either SD (Standard Definition) or HD (High Definition) resolution.
For the July 4th weekend Dish Network will offer five movies for 99 cents each via their DISH Cinema channel. The movies are no slouches either. The lineup includes the 2011 films "Sucker Punch," "Battle: Los Angeles," "Hall Pass," and "Just Go With It," as well as last year's 10-time Oscar nominated film "True Grit."

As part of their 'Project Cavlary' expansion, Comcast is adding 119 new networks including 52 high-definition (HD) channels in the Santa Barbara County area. Those communities include Ballard, Buellton, Lompoc, Los Olivos, Orcutt, Santa Maria, Santa Ynez, Solvang and Vandenberg Village. The rest of the new networks are made up of 29 premium international networks, 21 hispanic channels, and 17 standard-definition channels.

The man who doesn't seem to pick a bad script, Matt Damon, has his own video-on-demand category within the Time Warner Cable library. The dedicated category will run until April 11 and features the Oct. 2010 release Hereafter, starring Damon along with Belgian-born actress Cécile De France.
