‘Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ goes multiplayer – ‘Infamous’ gets tandem release

The beans were spilled about Sony’s most “electrifying” summer announcement. It was revealed that, not only does Uncharted 2 have multiplayer, but its BETA access codes will be shipped this summer with the release of Infamous. Infamous is a sandbox action game that allows players to act as either a hero or villain with the use of electricity as a super power.

Promoting both games in tandem seems to be Sony’s plan to build hype around the products. It would seem to be a smart move considering that Uncharted has been one of the most successful PS3 games released so far. Like Uncharted, Infamous is a PS3 exclusive and ships on May 26th.

Both Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Infamous are available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is currently $56.99 (regularly priced at $59.99) and Infamous is still at its MSRP of $59.99.
