Golf Channel goes HD in Richmond, Hampton Roads

Verizon has added the Golf Channel in HD to its FiOS lineup in the Richmond and Hampton Roads, Virginia areas. The Golf Channel is a 24-hour network providing golf news, tournaments, and instructional programming. Golf fans can now catch The Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and the PGA Championship all in high-definition. The Golf Channel is available to FiOS TV Extreme HD subscribers.

UPDATE: Verizon also added the Golf Channel HD to their lineup in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
